For over 30 years, I worked in financial services, advising high net worth clients, executives and business owners on wealth strategy. But time and time again I would see the same patterns: financial success (or the lack of it) wasn't just about knowledge or income levels. but about behaviour.
Yet the conversations I wanted to have, the ones I felt the clients desperately needed to have, weren't included in the traditional wealth management or financial advice meetings.
There was nothing included in OUR professional training that helped us understand our clients real fears, hesitations, or unspoken feelings.
Thousands of client conversations, decades of experience, and a growing curiosity about the psychology behind financial behaviour led me beyond investment markets and economics into behavioural finance.
What I discovered changed the way I think about money completely.
In 2020, as the whole world navigated the pandemic and generally reassessed life's priorities, I realised that I needed to take this side of the financial conversation further. So I made the decision to leave a successful career in wealth management to explore the question I couldn't ignore:
What if the missing piece wasn't more financial knowledge... but a better understanding of ourselves?
That's why I now focus on financial psychology and emotional finance, helping individuals and organisations to understand the hidden, and misunderstood, patterns, identities, emotions and habits that really drive our financial decisions.
My mission is to bring financial psychology into everyday life, the workplace and the financial services profession, changing the way we think, feel and act with money.
I believe lasting financial change happens when psychology and practical action work together. That's why I take a science-backed, behaviour-first approach to money, helping you:
Identify and break unhelpful financial patterns.
Build new, sustainable money habits.
Gain confidence to have better financial conversations with your family, professional advisors, and friends.
Develop a financial strategy that aligns with your personal values and goals (not with what you think you ought to be doing)
Shift habits, patterns and cycles that have felt stuck for decades

On the face of it you're financially successful. You have a good income, regular bonuses, and occasional windfalls.
Yet every month you are down to your last few pounds before payday, the credit card you paid off has new balances on it again, and you don't have anything to show for the money you have received.
Sound familiar? You can break the cycles of spending, running up debt, and making excuses, and start to see your relationship with money improve, your finances become more efficient, and your savings soar as you move towards financial stability and independence.

You're not stupid when it comes to knowing what you should be doing.
You're very successful in your career, and other areas of your life.
You can tell other people what they should be doing to make their financial lives a success....but you can't seem to implement it and sustain it for yourself.
I get you - and it's frustrating as heck, isn't it! Get curious, and start to identify where your money blocks are, and you can understand why they are sabotaging your efforts to do all the right things. Rather than feeling a failure, you can feel in control and see successes with your finances.

Do you avoid the issue whenever money is the topic of conversation?
Do you gloss over your concerns for fear of feeling ashamed or embarrassed.
Do you give the answers you think others want to hear, to avoid being judged for your real situation?
I hear you - All too often, taking the easy option is anything but easy in the end.
Avoiding the issues just leads to feelings of discomfort, as they eat away inside you, leading to sleepless nights, and overflowing into other areas of your life, interfering with your personal relationships and creating blocks in your business.
You might be feeling like you're no good with money, but that's just not true.
You're holding on to an old money story.
You're repeating behaviour that has been ingrained within you for a very long time.
And the good news is, that it can be changed!
My simple Rewired for Wealth programme is a fabulous (and FREE!) way of getting your money mind on your side so that you don't have to keep making the same old mistakes again!
Let’s change the way we think about money.
Let’s change your financial future.
Let’s change the system.
